Designed according to the ability

In this program we have six classes in Mekanissa and two in Kassanchis. There are 18 children and one guest child in every class. When we say guest child, a child behaviorally difficult to handle in the class, we allow them to come 1-2 day/week. The age of the children is 4-15 years.

The Montessori Method of teaching children is very different from the other classes. When we teach, each child needs a mat, put it on the floor and sits on it and do things work individually. Each material has its own purpose and used depending on the child's ability and interest. This will help the children to become independent and develop self confidence. In the class the following subjects will be conducted: Sensorial, Language, Mathematics, Geography, Science, Art, Sport, Environment and Daily living activities.

We give new comers, those who lag behind in the basic daily life skill, all the training such as toileting, cleaning, brushing, dressing and the like.

Then we train them according to their ability and we lead them to the prevocational training program which prepares them to the LAWST program. In the above mentioned classes there are 144 children with different abilities to follow and understand the training activities. But we have also designed an individual teaching program to benefit all.
